ក្រសួងការពារជាតិ នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា សូមជម្រាបជូនព័ត៌មានដល់សាធារណជនជាតិ និងអន្តរ ជាតិមេត្តាជ្រាបថា៖ នៅថ្ងៃទី២៥ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ មានផេកផ្លូវការរបស់មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលប្រតិបត្តការតំបន់កងទ័ពទី២របស់ថៃ និងសារព័ត៌មានរបស់ថៃមួយចំនួនបានចុះផ្សាយនាល្ងាចនេះម្តងទៀតថា “កម្ពុជាបានបង្កហេតុដោយមានសកម្មភាពចល័តរថក្រោះចូលនិងឮសម្លេងកាំភ្លើង ឮសម្លេងផ្ទុះគ្រាប់បែក និងរកឃើញការចូលជិតលួសបន្លា ព្រមទាំងមានការបាញ់ចូល ដើម្បីពិនិត្យមើលរយៈចម្ងាយ ជាដើម។

Her Excellency Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, the Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia

The Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia wishes to inform the general public and the international community as follows:

On September 25, 2025, the official facebook page of the Second Army Area Operations Center and some Thai media outlets had reported this afternoon once again that "Cambodia provoked the incident by moving tanks in, hearing the sounds of gunfire and the sound of bombs explosion, detecting to have approached of barbed wire, as well as firing to check the distance, etc."

The Ministry of National Defense wishes to clarify that:

Cambodian forces did not initiate provocations or conduct any activities that violate the ceasefire agreement, as alleged by the Thai side. 

According to the confirmation by the Cambodian forces positioned at the frontline, the following incidents were reported as follows:

- At 11:25 AM, the sound of one shot of gunfire was heard from the Thai side, roughly the area adjacent to the Chub Tapri area.

- At 4:48 PM, the sounds of three shots of gunfire were heard from the Thai side, roughly the area of An Ses. 

- From 4:48 PM to 5:00 PM, the sounds of gunfire were heard from the Thai side, around twenty-five to thirty shots, roughly from the area of Prolean Tmar, Bos Sbov, and Choam Te.

In this sense, the Cambodian armed forces reiterate its commitment to fully respecting and implementing the ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand, with firm and resolute determination, in line with the strong commitment to cooperate at all levels. To emphasize, Cambodia has consistently maintained good cooperation, particularly the Cambodia-Thailand Communication teams at the frontline, which have been actively engaged in fostering good communication through regular exchanges of information and clarifications to prevent unnecessary tensions
