Cambodia Transitions from Peace Recipient to Provider Amid Ongoing Tensions with Thailand

«While emphasizing Cambodia's transformation from a recipient to a provider of peace and stability, DPM Prak Sokhonn expressed grave concern over ongoing border tensions with Thailand, denouncing violations of Cambodia's sovereignty and calling for strict compliance with the ceasefire, dialogue, and peaceful settlement in accordance with international law. Cambodia appealed for support from ASEAN, the UN, and the international community to help de-escalate tensions and restore trust between the two countries.»
